Sound Check Productions specializes in songwriter demos. We have recorded
thousands of songs
for thousands of writers from around the world since 1991... at very
reasonable rates!
We use state-of-the-art equipment and
we hire only the finest professional musicians.
Getting started is easy. We'll take your
idea, create an arrangement, lay down some initial tracks
and then let you review it. Then we'll complete the recording and you'll
get to hear the final product. The entire process can be done in as little
as a week, or it may take a few weeks for larger projects.
At Sound Check Productions, our philosophy is like this - it's
not the high-tech equipment or the best sounding room that results in a
great demo - IT'S THE TALENT! Don't get us wrong... we have the latest,
state-of-the-art digital recording gear, great mics and one of the best
sounding rooms on the planet, but ultimately, it's the VOCAL that sells
the song and the tasteful demo arrangement that allows that vocal to shine!!! In other words - as Jimmy Rodgers said, "the proof
is in the pudding"... (or maybe it was Will Rogers).

The
process is simple - just send us a rough version of your song, (CD,
cassette or mp3 is fine) a lyric sheet, the chords if you know them, and
we'll take care of the rest.
We
will produce and arrange a great sounding demo in the style that you
request by combining drums, bass, guitars, keyboards, vocals, harmonies,
percussion and pretty much anything else needed to capture the essence
of the song. You can expect your completed demo in 2 to 4 weeks,
depending on our work load.
